WELCOME TO REYNOLDS HILLS

Reynolds Hills is a hidden treasure a world away from city life, just 40 miles north of New York City near Peekskill – easily accessible by train or car. Our casual, friendly, and affordable three-season community has 70 cottages, each unique, ranging from studios to two bedrooms, on 50 wooded acres. Reynolds Hills has a large swimming pool, a clay tennis court, and an organic garden maintained by the community. Blue Mountain Reservation, a 1,530 acre county park adjacent to our community, is great for recreation for all ages, including hiking, mountain biking, sports and picnics. You’ll also want to check out Things to Do in the Area, which describes some favorite Hudson River/Hudson Highlands attractions.

Our community social hall is alive with music, dancing, pot luck meals, movies, lectures, reading, a book club, and WiFi access. Our members have organized water aerobics, Feldenkrais, yoga and Zumba classes. But there is no pressure to do anything: you can just “be.” Lush trees, flowers, birds and wonderful fresh air abound.

Reynolds Hills is a historic three-season community founded in 1929 and cooperatively run. Each member maintains his/her own cottage, and the land is owned by the membership organization. In addition to a caretaker family who lives at Reynolds Hills year round, our community-spirited members often help out in all sorts of ways.

The season runs from April 1 to November 15, at which time the water must be shut off for the winter. Cats and small pets are welcome but sorry, no dogs are allowed.

We invite you to browse Available Cottages to see what cabins are currently for sale by members.
